Indonesia: The ASEAN ECONOMIC MINISTERS 'SPECIAL MEETING 2022 was held in Bali, Indonesia on Wednesday, May 18 with the participation of ASEAN Economic Ministers. The purpose of this special meeting is to discuss and exchange views between each ASEAN Member State on new regional and global issues that are directly or indirectly affecting ASEAN, especially during ASEAN's recovery efforts.

Six major agendas were discussed at the special meeting, including: the global economic situation, the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), ASEAN preparations for the 12th Ministerial Conference of the Trade Organization. Globalization, trade-related environmental and climate change measures, initiatives in the form of ASEAN projects and other issues.

The Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the ASEAN Economic Ministers' Meeting in 2022, Mr. Pan Sosak, said that all meetings actively participated in exchanging views, opinions and discussions on each agenda that makes the meeting. This ended smoothly and remarkably fruitfully.
